Bluesky opens a new Cell Site in Faga’alu.

We here at Bluesky believe that this is one great way we can give back to the community

Bluesky commissioned their new cell site at Faga’alu village today, which will significantly improve mobile services for their customers in the area, especially for Lyndon B. Johnson Tropical Medical Center, the American Samoa Emergency Medical Services, the Departmentof Public Health and the Matafao Elementary School. The event was attended by Honorable Senator Fano Mitch Shimasaki, Honorable HouseRepresentative Vailoata Amituana’i, High Chief Faumuina John Taufete’e Faumuina, CEO, LBJ, Mr. Motusa Tuileama Nua, Director, DOH and Reverand Father Sebastian Chacko who offered the prayers and blessed the new cell site.

“I would like to express our sincere appreciation in thanking Bluesky very much for the services that has been commissioned this morning. LBJ considers Bluesky a partner and we will continue to commit to that partnership. We continue to rely on Bluesky, because we have an electronic health record system now in our operations, and we rely very heavily on that system. If that breaks down, the communications between the physicians and the patients and all the entry level services will stop. To that end we cannot take any risk and bank on any one system. So with the enhancement of the services we have, we are encouraged that Bluesky has stepped forward.”

“Bluesky is grateful to Honorable Senator Fano Mitch Shimasaki and our customers formaking this possible. We are pleased to be able to improve our customers’ experience with our LTE network. This structure is one of many that we are committed to installing throughout the island to improve our customers’ experience with Bluesky’s mobile LTEservice”
