BLUESKY DONATES TO LBJ COVID WARD HELPING COVID PATIENTS STAY CONNECTED

Bluesky’s primary commitment has been to help the community of American Samoa since it was established in 1999. As our territory and people are currently managing to cope with life changing experiences with the COVID 19 pandemic, Bluesky wants to do their part and show support to our people who have been affected with the virus and require medical attention at LBJ hospital.

Understanding the LBJ COVID Ward is restricted to just the affected patients and medical staff, Bluesky has donated four (4) Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 tablets to LBJ Hospital specifically for the COVID Ward, to provide patients the means to contact their families while in isolation. In addition to the donation of tablets, Bluesky is providing each tablet with 150GB of data for three months, effective April 2022 to June 2022.

As the number of cases increase, fatalities in relation to the COVID virus rise, many people in our community are being admitted to the LBJ Hospital’s COVID Ward for medical attention and isolation. Bluesky is pleased to be able to assist and support our people in the COVID Ward with these tablets, to help them stay connected with their family members during this difficult time.

“Bluesky is always here to help support and give to our island community, in times of need and adversity. We offer our prayers for the safety, security, and well-being of everyone who has been affected by Covid 19, and our most sincere gratitude goes out to all the first responders, doctors, nurses, and volunteers who are working tirelessly to ensure the safety of American Samoa.” says Justin Tuiasosopo, Bluesky Chief Executive Officer.
