BLUESKY DONATES TO AMERICAN SAMOA CANCER COALITION

The month of October is internationally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, otherwise commonly known as “Pinktober” for the waves of pink that people all over the world wear to show their support for those who have been affected by breast cancer. And though October has come to an end, our community’s efforts to support those affected by breast cancer cannot stop after October is over.

For this reason, Bluesky has recently donated a total of $3,000 to the American Samoa Cancer Coalition, in support of our community’s breast cancer patients.

Bluesky has always committed to investing in our community and believes that a truly deep commitment to our community is a continuous process. That is why, in addition to hosting Pinktober waves to raise breast cancer awareness, Bluesky held a Pinktober drive and committed 10% of October sales from their $1 and $2 Unlimited Data Bundles, along with the $2 and $4 data bundles, raising up to $3,000 to donate to the American Samoa Cancer Coalition.

Overall, Bluesky is grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community in a way that might not only raise social awareness about breast cancer, but also might aid research that seeks concrete ways to better care for our community’s breast cancer patients.

“We understand that the care for those affected by breast cancer in our community is an ever going process, but likewise, Bluesky’s support is also ongoing and does not waver even after Pinktober,” says Justin Tuiasosopo, Bluesky Chief Executive Officer.
