BLUESKY DONATES $2,000 TO #GIVELIGHT INITIATIVE

Since the Code Red restriction was declared in American Samoa on February 22nd, 20022,  our people have faced the most challenging times in the past month and some have struggled with financial hardships.  While our government leaders work together to protect and help our people learn to live with COVID-19, some non-profit organizations in our community stepped up to lend a helping hand where needed.

As such the #Givelight initiative was established through the collaboration of four non-profit organizations: the Rotaract Club of Pago Pago, the Esther Generation, Agency for Better Living Endeavors – ABLE and The Christopher James Foeloetini Ledoux Foundation.  The group joint efforts to raise 100% of funding for the purpose of purchasing Cash Power from ASPA for low-income households most affected by COVID-19 restrictions in the community.

Recognizing the importance of such a great initiative for the families in need during this time, Bluesky donated $2,000 to help support the efforts of the four non-profit organizations with the #Givelight initiative.

“We understand that it has been difficult for some families during these times and Bluesky is proud to support and commend the efforts of the #Givelight initiative,” says Justin Tuiasosopo, Bluesky Chief Executive Officer.
