BLUESKY DONATES $15,000 FOR THE CHILDREN’S PLAYGROUND.

The Rotaract Club of American Samoa is dedicated to fellowship, leadership, professional development, through service. Established last year under the umbrella of the local Rotary Club, the Rotaract’s hit the ground running with
plans to hold various fundraising activities through the remainder of this year to fund a new public playground at Lyons Park, by the Pala Lagoon Swimming Center. The Cornhole Tournament held this Saturday,
September 4th, 2021 at Lyons Park is just one of many fundraising events the Rotaract team has planned for the new playground.

Driven by their commitment to creating a safe place for the children of American Samoa
to exercise and have fun, they managed to garner the support of Bluesky as one of their Major Sponsors for the festivities leading up to a new Playground.
At Bluesky, many of the employees are parents and grandparents who understand playing outside is good for children and a vital part of their childhood which helps them develop physical strength, coordination, and balance. Since its establishment, Bluesky
has been a major advocate of children and youth development in American
Samoa. Partnering with the Rotaract Club certainly aligns with Bluesky’s ongoing
commitment to youth development in the Territory.

On Friday, September 3rd, 2021, at a press conference in Bluesky’s Laufou Office, the Rotaract Club members were given a $15,000 check to help fund the new Playground. Bluesky CEO Justin Tuiasosopo presented their donation on behalf of the staff and management. “Bluesky applauds the Rotaracts efforts and we are happy to support your endeavors on improving and creating a safe and better tomorrow for our
youth” Bluesky CEO.
