It was a such pleasure to be at the press conference and to receive our honored guests and main even for the upcoming Manatua le Mananoa Aiga Concert, Punialava’a Band

It was a press conference that highlighted 2 amazing facts:
1. Mananoa is now a coined term and Samoan word that directly translates to “Alzheimer”

2. The Punialava’a Band will be debuting their newest song yet “Manatua le Mananoa” at their upcoming FREE aiga concert this Friday at the Veteran’s Stadium. A song the Punialava’a Band wrote specifically to address the negative stigma that surrounds Alzheimer’s Disease. A song they will be releasing right here in American Samoa. We got a short preview of the song, and you do not want to miss out 🫱🏼‍🫲🏼
